The offer

You don't pay SnailMailHQ until your subscribers pay you.

Free to start. No credit card required. 3% per transaction on the free Starter plan — nothing until money comes in. Studio ($19.97/mo + 2.25%) and Pro ($67/mo + 1.75%) lower your fees as your club grows. If your first subscriber never joins, you owe us nothing.

You've thought about starting a subscription club at least three times.

Every time you think about how to collect money and track who's paid, you close the browser tab.

You'd start tomorrow — if it didn't feel like signing up for a second full-time job.

If it feels like I'm reading your mind: this was built for you.

Built by an artist

Stacie built this because she needed it herself.

Stacie Bloomfield has built over $10 million in gross revenue through her surface design brand Gingiber — as a top Etsy seller, a multi-million-dollar Shopify merchant, and the artist behind a snail mail club with more than 2,500 monthly subscribers. SnailMailHQ is what she wished existed.

The problem

You have the idea. Your people keep saying "I would buy that." The only thing missing is a place to run it.

Artists have been running monthly mail clubs for years — sending prints, stickers, zines, tea, handwritten letters, small-batch goods. Most hold it together with spreadsheets, Venmo requests, and tools that were never built for this. You don't need a huge following. Twenty people who love getting your work in the mail is real, steady money every month. SnailMailHQ makes that possible — no tech skills required.

How it works

Three steps. Then it runs itself.

1

Set up your club

Name it, describe it, set your price. Takes about 10 minutes. We help you make it sound like something people actually want to join.

2

Connect Stripe once

Connect your bank account in about five minutes. We walk you through every single step. After that, all payments happen automatically — you never have to touch it again.

3

Share your link. Get paid every month.

Subscribers join, they pay, you ship your work. The money lands in your account. Every month, automatically.

The things everyone asks.

Not even close. Most artists run their clubs alongside day jobs, families, and everything else. Start small — even 20 subscribers changes the math.

Be the first to know when we open.

Early users help shape what we build. This is a small, intentional launch — and the people on this list are the first through the door.

No pitch. No pressure. Just first in line.

Why artists give up

“Every platform I tried was either too little or way too much.”

What you've already tried

  • EtsyCan't do monthly subscriptions.
  • ShopifyToo complex. Too expensive.
  • PatreonTakes 8–12%. Holds your money.
  • CratejoyMade for generic boxes.
  • A spreadsheet + 4 appsYou've cried.

“You don’t need more software. You need less.”

What SnailMailHQ does instead

  • Monthly subscriptions, built in.
  • One simple link to share.
  • Members manage themselves.
  • Built by artists, not developers.
  • Start free. Lower fees as you grow.

“One login. One platform. Your time back.”

Three small steps.

i.

Set up your club

Pick your name. Set your price. Upload your first hero image. Payouts go straight to your bank.

ii.

Invite your founding members

Share your link wherever your people are — email, Instagram, a text to your most enthusiastic followers. It doesn't take a big audience. It takes the right ones. Your founding members join, pay, and lock in their price forever.

iii.

Print, sign, mail

Each month, sign your prints. We handle the billing, the renewals, the pauses, and the address management. You handle the art.

What you actually get

Make the art. Send the mail. Get paid.

Member portal

Your subscribers manage their own account. They change their address, pause for a month, or cancel — without emailing you. Nobody has to track down member #23's new apartment.

Founding member pricing

Set a special lower price for your founding members — the people who join before you raise your rate. They lock that price in forever. It doesn't matter if that's 5 people or 50. Your earliest supporters feel like insiders, and they almost never leave. You don't need a big audience to start. You just need the right people.

❚❚

Pause-don’t-cancel

Subscribers can pause for 30, 60, or 90 days instead of canceling. When life gets in the way — a move, a busy season, a baby — most people just cancel. With pause, they keep their founding price and come back. Saves about 6 out of 10 would-be cancellations.

$

Direct deposit, not held money

Your money goes straight to your bank. We never touch it. Patreon holds your money for a month. We don’t. Subscriber payments deposit to your bank within days — same way Etsy or Square works. We get paid by taking a small slice of each transaction, not by sitting on your money.

Your own club URL

Your club lives at yourclub.snailmailhq.com. Send your subscribers a link that looks professional and is easy to remember. No long Etsy product URLs, no weird checkout pages.

Take your list with you

Download your subscriber list anytime — names, emails, addresses, history. We don’t trap your audience the way Patreon does. If you ever want to leave, your list comes with you. It's yours.

See it in action

Here’s what a real SnailMailHQ club looks like.

Live Bloomfield Diaries club site on SnailMailHQ

Bloomfield Diaries is run by Stacie — the artist who built SnailMailHQ. Every feature you see here was designed in the studio, then built into the platform.

  • Founding member pricing — locked at $14/month forever
  • One signed 5×7 print + handwritten note, every month
  • Live member count + spots-remaining urgency

Built by an artist

“I built SnailMailHQ because I needed it.”

“I’m Stacie. I run a tea-towel club and a print club — and I’ve tried every platform that exists.

Etsy is where I started. But Etsy doesn’t allow subscriptions. And even if it did, you don’t own your list there — your customers belong to Etsy.

Shopify works for my main brand. But it’s a lot: dozens of pages to manage, a monthly bill, more setup than most people want just to sell a club. You shouldn’t need to become a web developer to mail your art.

SnailMailHQ is the simple version. One link. One place. Your members, your list, your money.

“3% per transaction on the free Starter plan. We don’t make money until you do.”

— Stacie Bloomfield, Gingiber

The math is simple

The simplest pricing in snail mail.

Starter is 3% per transaction. No monthly fees. No setup fees. Out of every $17 your subscriber pays, we take 51 cents. That's it. Paid plans (Studio, Pro) trade a small monthly for an even lower per-order fee — see pricing. We don’t make money until you do. (Plus the standard credit card processing fee — about 30¢ + 2.9% — same as Etsy, Shopify, or anywhere else that takes cards. We don’t add anything to it.)

All platforms use Stripe or similar for card processing. Standard card fees (~2.9% + 30¢) apply everywhere and are not included in the figures above.

At 20 members, SnailMailHQ saves you ~$340–$370 per year vs Patreon or Cratejoy. That's a print run, an envelope order, or a month of breathing room.

What's not on this chart:

  • +Founding member pricing — built in. Offer your first members a lower rate they keep forever. It builds loyalty from day one and gives people a reason to join now instead of later. Other platforms make you figure this out yourself.
  • +Pause-Don't-Cancel — your members can pause 30/60/90 days instead of leaving.
  • +Your money, your bank — subscriber payments deposit straight to your account. We never hold your money.
  • +Export your member list anytime — your audience belongs to you, not us.

Math: 50 members × $14/mo × 12 months = $8,400/year gross. Comparison rates based on each platform's published pricing as of June 2026. Verify before committing.

Up to 3 clubs, 500 members per club, 5 tiers, order bump at checkout, 3-email recovery sequence. Pro: $67/mo + 1.75%. Unlimited clubs, unlimited members, custom URL coming August (Pro first). There's no need for one. The Starter plan is free until your first paying subscriber. If nobody subscribes, you never pay a cent. If someone does subscribe, we take 3% of that transaction. Paid plans (Studio, Pro) lower that percentage further.

All major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, and Cash App Pay (via Stripe).

What if I want my own domain?+

Custom URLs are coming in August — Pro plan first.
