Terms of Service

SnailMailHQ is operated by Gingiber LLC. By subscribing or using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Your subscription
- Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis at the price shown at checkout.
- If you joined as a Founding Member, your founding price is locked for the life of your continuous subscription.
- You can pause your subscription for 30, 60, or 90 days from your account. It auto-resumes on the date you choose.
Cancellations
You can cancel anytime from your account, or email hello@snailmailhq.com. Cancellation stops future charges. You'll continue to receive prints through the end of the period you've already paid for.
Refunds & Cancellation
Because each print is custom-made and mailed, we don't refund prints that have already been produced or shipped. If something arrives damaged, lost in the mail, or there's a billing mistake, email us within 30 days and we'll make it right — typically a replacement print or a refund of that month's charge.
Timelines:
- Cancellation requests are confirmed by email within 2 business days.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of confirmation. Your bank may take a few additional days to post the credit.
- Damaged or lost prints: report within 30 days of the ship date and we'll send a replacement or refund within 5–10 business days of confirming the issue.
- Duplicate or accidental charges are refunded in full within 3 business days of being reported.
Shipping
Prints ship on the date listed on your club page. We mail to the address on file at the time of the cutoff — make sure it's current. We're not responsible for prints sent to an outdated address you didn't update.
Intellectual property
The artwork remains the property of the artist who made it. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-commercial copy to enjoy. Please don't reproduce, resell, or commercially redistribute the prints.
Seller of record
For clubs run by independent artists on SnailMailHQ, the artist is the merchant of record for your subscription. Sales settle directly to the artist's Stripe account, the artist's business appears on your card statement, and the artist is responsible for their own sales tax and customer service. SnailMailHQ provides the software and collects a platform fee — we're not a party to the sale.
One exception: Bloomfield Diaries, the club run by Gingiber LLC (the operator of SnailMailHQ), is sold directly by Gingiber LLC as the merchant of record.
Acceptable use
Don't use the service to break the law, abuse other people, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or interfere with how the service runs. We can suspend accounts that do.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gingiber LLC's total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
