Why Brooke makes this

Every artwork has a story, and the story behind my art often starts in a book. I love to dive into a topic and see where it takes me. Often this is in the realm of natural history, but I am open to following my curiosity where it leads me. I take my favorites and turn them into bookmarks. With each bookmark I include the personal story of my inspiration. Then I send them to a small group of people with the hope they might inspire you along the way.
