Every month, an envelope arrives in your mailbox containing a beautifully curated watercolor postcard, a postage stamp, and a thoughtful writing prompt. More than a stationery club, Pocketful of Joy is a monthly practice of mindfulness, gratitude, and community. For $12/month ($15 after the founders list closes) you can step away from the screen, put pen to paper, and surprise someone you love with a physical piece of art and a handwritten message.

Why postcards?

A friend recently told me about the joy she feels joy each time she looks at my watercolor postcard. I realized in our fast-paced, digital world, texts fly in seconds, but a physical card is a tangible connection. I created Pocketful of Joy to help you share a little joy (and watch your own joy grow!)

What do I get every month?
A postcard with a print of my orginal watercolor artwork and a prompt to help you think of whom to write or what to say. It comes with a stamp already on it, so you can write a note, address it, and pop it in the mail before you take off your shoes!
Why postcards?
People don't send a lot of handwritten correspondence anymore. Even a greeting card can feel intimidating with all that blank space inside. A postcard is small, and easy to fill, even with something as simple as "I thought of you today!" but what a boost for the person who receives!
To whom do I write?
Every month will have a suggestion for whom to write, though of course you don't have to stick to that. There will be no words on the front, so you can use them for any occasion.
Can I get ideas for what to say?
Yes! Every month will also have a qr code linking to my website with ideas to get your ink flowing.
Can I buy a second postcard of my favorite?
Reach out and ask: if I have any left, you absolutely can!
Do you have any of the art available as a print?
Yes! You can look at the shop on my website at what is immediately available. You can also reach out and request a print of anything that isn't listed. Most of the time I can set you up for the same price as prints in the shop.
What if I hate the art one month?
Send it to someone you don't like. Write something like "This made me think of you today" which is 100% true! and who knows, maybe that will be a turning point? At least you won't be stuck with art you don't want!
