Why Melyssa Stewart makes this

A collection of hand drawn artwork, stickers and a bookmark mailed to you slowly, and quietly.

I have long had an appreciation for all things nature, from plants and animals, to weather phenomena. From the beautiful to the dangerous and dark underbelly. This has long inspired my artwork, for as long as I could hold a pencil.

In more recent days I have been inspired to share my artwork as a form of rebellion against a world that values instant gratification, and using AI to create instant slop, that is passed off as art.

For me art requires the human hand to be involved, whether traditional or digital. Human made artwork has a story, a perspective, and a soul that AI generated images will never have.

What if I'm traveling when my mail arrives?
Your package will be delivered to you mailbox and waiting for you when you get home. Alternatively you can reach out if you would prefer to delay your shipping and I can hold on to your print for you.
Are these original prints or open editions?
These are limited edition prints of original artwork.I digitally hand draw each one exclusively for The Foxes Field Notes. Once the month is over that print will no longer be sent out. They are all signed and numbered before being mailed out.
What sizes do prints come in?
The prints are 5x7, and printed on museum grade paper with archival inks.
Can I pause my subscription?

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! USA shipping is 1.40, Canada is 10 everywhere else is 15. The right price will show at checkout.
