Each month, I gather my inspiration - my Ukrainian ceramics, Easter eggs, traditional symbols, historical designs - and hand-draw a Ukrainian folk art illustration. This becomes the specially curated piece for a limited number of Paraska Post subscribers to collect, share or display. With each edition, you’ll receive a different art print, greeting card, postcard or other stationery piece, with a hand-illustrated, professionally printed Ukrainian folk art design created by me and an explainer card with the symbols and meanings featured that month. Paraska Post is created for a limited number of subscribers and delivered in an envelope via regular mail - throwback to snail mail, only stamps.

Ukrainian folk art has been part of my life since childhood

Paraska illustrations are inspired by my experience creating Ukrainian ceramics, pysanky (Easter eggs) and embroidery. The name Paraska honors my great-grandmothers and grew from my desire to preserve and reinterpret my Ukrainian cultural tradition through contemporary illustration and design. My hope is that each piece I create brings a feeling of warmth and nostalgia for a culture and traditions that many of us grew up with.
