The Story

A small glimpse of the hedge along the mossy path.

The peaceful unfolding to each day. Every morning I walk along one of the mossy paths on our farm in rural Indiana. I’m enchanted by the wild flowers, the mushrooms and wild life that change with the seasons. These scenes are captured in my watercolor paintings. I have had them made into a piece of practical artwork created with intention and utility for people who want a tiny bit of this quiet magic in their homes.

This ever-changing world brings endless inspiration to my art.

Who Makes It

I’m Leslie a self-taught artist. I started this club to share the beauty and wonder of this land that has been in my family since the late 1800’s. I love the Pixie greens of young sprouts in the spring that then burst into literal fields of color with the heat of the summer sun. I’m intoxicated by heady scents and flashes of reds, oranges and yellows that come with the drying corn and leaves in autumn. Then the greys and blacks against the stark white of snow in the winter beg me to paint the deafening silence. This ever-changing world brings endless inspiration to my art.
