I'm Stacie. I run a small monthly tea towel club out of my studio in Arkansas. I started it because I love sending things in the mail, and I love the people who wait for them.
The making part is the easy part. The hard part is everything around it — the billing, the address list, the cut-offs, the cancellations, the someone moved and their last package came back. None of it is artistic work. All of it eats the day.
So I built SnailMailHQ for myself first. The thing that quietly handles the money, the math, the addresses, and the deadlines, so the first of the month is still about the mail.
Etsy and a shop of your own do different jobs.
Etsy is a marketplace. Its big strength is that shoppers show up looking for something, so people find you who never would have otherwise. SnailMailHQ is not a marketplace and does not pretend to be one. We don't bring you shoppers.
What we give you is a shop that is yours. Your name on the page, your prices, your shipping, and a monthly club right next to it. The people who find you on Instagram, at a craft fair, or through a friend can come here to buy and to join something that keeps going.
