"Golden Ginko" is part of my “Autumn Memories” series. It is a love letter to my neighborhood, Mac-Groveland in St. Paul, Minnesota. Each leaf in the collection was hand chosen on a family walk— the same route we walk over and over throughout the year. When I look at this print, I’m grateful for the ginko tree that provides hope and anticipation in the spring, shade and comfort in the summer, and a sense of magic in the fall, pulling us out of our phones and demanding our full attention. I hope this piece takes on its own special meaning for you. This handmade piece was made by carving each leaf out of linoleum by hand, creating a custom bronze/brown shade of premium oil-based ink, and printing on professional printmaking paper. Each print will have tiny variations due to their handmade nature.
