Red Rooster

Meet Red, a jovial rooster who lives on my sister's farm with other chickens and goats. Every morning, Red marches up to her bedroom window and crows joyfully, announcing the start of a brand-new day. With his wings outstretched and a spring in his step, he takes his morning duties very seriously! Inspired by Red's cheerful personality, this original hand-painted watercolor tea towel brings a little farmyard joy and character into your kitchen. A thoughtful gift for chicken lovers, farm enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates the simple pleasures of country life.

About the artist

Corner Of The Forest Studio

Hi, I’m Wanjiru. I’m inspired by the old folk tales I grew up loving and reading. My illustrations carry the zeal and wit, of the brave animals who live inside them. I think of myself as a keeper of old folk tales. I aim to make seasonal collections of cards, tea towels, and artwork, playful at times, and made to be enjoyed for years to come. Welcome to Corner of the Forest Studio! Step into a story that’s just beginning, or one already unfolding. I’m so grateful we found each other.
